Transport Services

Our modern fleet consists primarily of 44 Ton Tractor units coupled to 13.6 metre Tautliner trailers. Each with a carrying capacity of 28.50 Ton or 26 standard pallets. We have various trailer internal heights, which gives customers added capacity with extra height for lighter consignments. Each trailer is equipped with internal load restraint straps & each vehicle carries a further 12 ratchet straps with 2ton load restraint capacity. This ensures any load is secure during transit complying with our health & safety policy.

We have been able to provide customers over the last 10 years, with a dedicated self load/unload service with our 26 Ton rigid curtainsided vehicles with mounted forkilifts. We can offer a full logistics package, which greatly reduces customers costs & increasing efficiency by providing staff & equipment to load/unload the vehicle. These vehicles have a load capacity of 12.50 Ton or 14 pallets. Each driver has been fully trained and holds all the necessary licences to operate the forklift, again, complying with our health & safety policy. The forklifts can load/unload from one side of the vehicle for limited space on some sites, each has a lifting capacity of 1 ton.

For smaller consignments, we have a range of vans & a 3.50T flatbed which operate locally throughout Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.

All vehicles are fitted with the latest satellite navigation equipment. This allows for constant accurate positioning data for any customer requirements. The system also allows us to forward consignment details to the driver which ensures correct details are received and also minimizes the use of mobile phones, which enforces our commitment to our health & safety policy and the environment.
